Technology in Nigeria
Primary Products
Azikel Refinery is designed to process Bonny Sweet light crude and Gbarain Condensate to produce high quality petroleum products
Premium Motor Spirit
AzikelRefinery will be producing PMS(gasoline) which is popular know as petrol. The quality of gasoline to be produce is to for international standard. This is to guarantee that cars which are very sensitive of the fuel mixture can run on our PMS product.
Diesel
Azikel Refinery diesel takes into account the amount of sulphur present in the diesel sold domestically. Our diesel will have ultra-low sulphur content as to been the best diesel sold nationally.
Kerosene
We will be producing kerosene for home use. Kerosene is thin, light-coloured oil typically used as fuel for heating and cooking, in lamps. Our processing of kerosene takes into our account the domestic uses and will ensure that impurities are all removed and the best quality of kerosene is produces.
Aviation Fuel
Our Specialized processing units will ensure that aviation fuel of its highest grade is produced and available to the local market.
LPG
Liquefied Petroleum Gas will be preceded in put gas plant ensuring that propane and butane are all well proceed and stored to serve the local market for gas utilization, either as cooking gas or for power plant usage.
Our Secondary Products
Heavy Fuel Oil
The residual distillation product, or atmospheric tower bottoms (ATB’s), is also known as Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) or Residual Fuel Oil (RFO), and is classified as #6 Diesel. In the marine industry, it is also known as Bunker C Fuel Oil, after the US Navy designation. Heavy Fuel Oil is used as fuel for very large diesel engines.. They are also relatively free of asphaltenes and heavy metals and relatively low in sulphur (3,960 ppm), making them a premium ATB product.
Naphtha
This is intermediate hydrocarbon liquid stream derived from refining the crude oil. The naphtha is a mixture of many different hydrocarbon compounds. It has an initial boiling point (IBP) of about 35 °C and a final boiling.
Gas Oil
This fuel is sometimes known as Bunker B. It may be obtained from the heavy gas oil cut, or it may be a blend of residual oil with enough number 2 oil to adjust viscosity until it can be pumped without preheating. Number 6 fuel oil is a high-viscosity residual oil requiring preheating to 104–127 °C (219–261 °F).
